A copy of the, attendance list is <br /> attached. Please note the following clarifications and amendments to the Hawks Nest Mine <br /> Reclamation Project Invitation and Bid: <br /> 1. Figure 1,Typical Silt Fence, was distributed at the Pre-Bid Meeting. <br /> 2. A revised Bid schedule is attached. <br /> 3. Item 8 D is added as follows: <br /> CONTRACTOR shall provide a laborer with tools such as a cutting torch or saw sufficient to <br /> cut and remove the inch to 3/4,inch diameter rebar which protrudes from the top of a concrete <br /> retaining wall located near the rail road tracks west of the earth work area, and east of the <br /> westerly tree and shrub planting area. The laborer shall perform other miscellaneous tasks as <br /> directed by PROJECT MANAGER. The hours bid on are NOT guaranteed. <br /> 4. As a point of clarification, the bulk of the woody material to be ground/pulverized/shred is <br /> located in the more easterly piles. However, the more westerly piles do contain some amount <br /> of woody material which shall ground/pulverized/shred at the discretion of the PROJECT <br /> MANAGER. Stumps containing root balls which hold soil will generally be pushed to the <br /> western portion of the work area. <br /> 5. Excess large diameter rock shall be disposed of on-site, as directed by PROJECT <br /> MANAGER. <br /> All terms and conditions of the Invitation and Bid other than as changed by this amendment <br /> remain the same. <br /> Receipt and acceptance of this amendment must be acknowledged on the bid submittal form. <br /> ',I <br />
