PROJECT WORK DESCRIPTION <br /> The following tasks will be performed on this Project: <br /> Task #1: Mobilization and Demobilization <br /> Task #2: Linden Avenue Loadout coal removal and reclamation <br /> Task #3: Section 15 stream realignment <br /> Task #4: Pond 15-P10 removal <br /> Task #5: Reconstruction of Pond 22-P10 <br /> Task #6: Ditch repair, culvert installation, rock swale construction <br /> Task #7: Spillway repair and clean out of Pond 15-P20, and removal of associated ditch <br /> Task #8: Spillway removal pond 22-P4 <br /> Task #9: Ditch and gully repair <br /> Task #10: Spillway repair ponds 15-Pl 1 and 15-P12 <br /> Task #1 1: Riser modification, Ponds 22-P5, 22-P6, and 22-P10 <br /> Task #12: Trailer removal <br /> Task #13: Revegetation <br /> Task #14: Reforestation of areas near Ponds 15-P20 and 22-P17 <br /> Task 1- Mobilization and Demobilization <br /> The CONTRACTOR shall exercise caution during mobilization, performance of all work tasks, <br /> and demobilization in order to avoid damage to public and private property including, but not <br /> limited to, railroad tracks, pavements, soils, vegetation, water supplies, fences, walls, <br /> structures, existing sediment Ponds, landscaping, etc. The CONTRACTOR shall repair and <br /> restore public or private property damaged during the work at his expense. <br /> The CONTRACTOR shall be fully responsible for any and all damage to property caused by his <br /> equipment or personnel. The CONTRACTOR shall ensure that the job site is restored to <br /> original or better condition and that the PROJECT MANAGER accept that the work is <br /> complete. <br /> Mobilization <br /> This task includes moving equipment and supplies to the project area. If desired, the <br /> CONTRACTOR may establish a staging area for the storage of all equipment and supplies. <br /> The area shall be of adequate size to accommodate all of the CONTRACTOR'S vehicles, <br /> equipment and supplies and shall be approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. The <br /> CONTRACTOR shall minimize impact on the staging area with regard to noise, dust, and <br /> fumes. The CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for maintaining security of the staging area. <br /> This task also includes all labor and costs associated with locating and protecting utilities, <br /> both above ground and underground, at the work site. Contamination of soil and surface or <br /> ground water from petroleum products will not be permitted and must be taken into <br /> consideration. <br /> See also 1.0 Mobilization/Demobilization, attached. <br /> 5 <br />
