The applicant will permanently mark the identified delineated wetlands to
prevent disturbance of these areas. Boundaries will be marked using tee-posts,
wire, stakes, flagging or a combination of these methods. The flood plain
boundary (line between Zone A and Zone C floodplain areas) and the
pond/buffer zone perimeter footprint will be similarly marked for the period of
operations at the pit: As stated in the application document, wetlands at the
site will not be disturbed without an approved COE Permit.
2. The applicant will shift the proposed pond invert so it will be located outside
the Zone "A" floodplain areas and will not mine within the floodplain. The
boundary line will be marked on the ground as requested by the Division
Engineer and stated above. The applicant will revise the Exhibit C and F Maps
to show the flood plain set-back from Zone "A" to Zone "C", the delineated
wetlands and the single pond reclamation aspect.
