Task 7 -Spillway Repair and Clean-out of Pond 15-P20 and Removal of Associated Ditch Pond <br /> 15-P20. <br /> Work Description <br /> Starting at the Ditch discharge into pond 15-P20, the ditch shall be removed (filled) for a <br /> distance of 350 feet north, and graded to original contour. Revegetation shall be according <br /> to specifications in 20.0 Revegetation, attached. <br /> The emergency spillway of Pond 15-P20 shall be lowered one (1) foot and graded to <br /> accommodate additional riprap (total riprap thickness of 2 feet). Riprap material for the <br /> spillway must consist of durable, irregular rock having a minimum D-50 of 6 inches and D-max <br /> of 9 inches (See Drawing #3 ). Riprap will have to be imported. The sediment delta in pond <br /> 15-P20 shall be removed, and the resulting material incorporated into the area to be reclaimed <br /> at Pond 15-P10. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> There will be no measurement for Task #7. Payment for Task#7 will be reflected in a lump <br /> sum bid under Item #8 on the Bid Schedule. <br /> Task #8 - Spillway Removal Pond 22-P4. <br /> Work Description <br /> The emergency spillway shall be removed from Pond 22-P4, allowing free flow around the <br /> embankment. Care must be taken to not disturb portions of the embankment where <br /> vegetation is well established. Additionally a 10-foot section of Ditch 22-D10, shall be <br /> removed, and flow directed into Pond 22-P4. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> There will be no measurement for Task #8. Payment for Task #8 will be reflected in a lump <br /> sum bid under Item #8 on the Bid Schedule. <br /> Task 9 - Ditch and Gully Repair <br /> Work Description <br /> Approximately 100 feet of the failed ditch to Pond 15-P8 shall be removed (filled) and graded <br /> to original contour. The large adjacent gully resulting from this failure shall be repaired by <br /> creating a gentle swale 3 feet deep containing two feet of riprap. The riprap material must <br /> consist of durable irregular rock having a minimum D-50 of 6 inches and a D-max of 9 inches. <br /> Riprap will have to be imported and must be approved by the Project Manager prior to hauling <br /> to the site. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> There will be no measurement for Task #9. Payment for Task #9 will be reflected in a lump <br /> sum under item #9 on the Bid Schedule. <br /> 9 <br />
