Computer requirements to an the DBMS document imaghsg CD (or DVD):
1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD
the first time. Future use of this or other immging CD's does not require a new installation of the software.
2. The CD or DVD that you purchase -ram be in the D: drlre. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD.
3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an innge viewing application for .tif files on your computer that
will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture
and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers
does work. DRMS has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from h1enview.con; does work with
QuickView. After downloading "lrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default.tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse
this software and the licensing and registration an the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as
"fringing Preview" and "Imaging for Windows".

1. Insert the CD into you computer. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickVww
2. Allow time for the CD to install . setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Au Corm program
3. Eject the CD from the computer. does NOT work, you will need to annually install the QuickView program.
4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request
5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.state.co.us.

The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of narking the CD. DXM cannot provide computer relraW support
