MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID #: M- nnn--Q47
INSPECTION DATE: 6-20-2008 INSPECTOR=S INITIALS: -11 F/
AJW/
OBSERVATIONS
On June 20`h, 2008 I, Jared Ebert, and Tony Waldron of the Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety conducted an
inspection of the Diamond Rock Pit, permit number M-2000-047. This operation is located about 13 miles south west of Walsenburg,
Colorado in Huerfano County. Mr. Anthony Blasi of Diamond B. Enterprises, LLC met us at the mine site.
Overall, it seems that this area has not been actively mined for some time. The operation appears to be contained within it's permit
boundary and is in compliance with the approved mining plan. The site contains an excavation area and several overburden piles,
both of which are stable. No problems were observed during this inspection.
Upon inspection of this site and the adjacent Andreatta Pit (M-1991-006); currently being mined by Huerfano County, it was
discovered that the two permit areas overlap each other. The north permit area of the Diamond Rock pit is overlapped with the
southern area of the Andreatta pit. At this time there does not appear to be any disturbance in the overlap area. The county permit
boundary will be shifted north so the two sites will no longer overlap; this will have no effect on the Diamond Rock Pits permit
boundary or operation.
I & E Contact Address
NAME: Anthony Blasi
OPERATOR: Diamond B.
