Extensive bank <br />stabilization work along the Animas River was completed last winter. A photo of the bank <br />stabilization work is included with the letter. <br />As noted in the 2007 annual report, the field along the far western boundary was graded, the <br />subgrade was ripped prior to distribution of the stockpiled topsoil, and seeded in the fall of 2007. <br />This spring, our seeding consultant noted that the landowner had not irrigated the reseeded area <br />that was now under stress. I called Jim Bryce, the land owner, who stated that he was having <br />trouble getting irrigation water to the field. Irrigating the field is the land owners' responsibility. <br />This letter, the attached photo, and enclosed check for $791.00 are submitted as fulfillment of <br />our reporting obligations for the year that began 28 July 2007. <br />Sincerely, <br />Peter M.
