8) The approximate depth of the extraction is 15 feet.
9) Approximately 20,000 cubic yards will be extracted.
10) The extraction of material will no involve the use of explosives.
11) The extraction site will not expose any tributary ground water.
12) The extraction of the material will be performed by BP Amoco and given to the
landowner. The landowner will crush and use the material for the improvement of the
permitted subdivision roads. What, if any, material that is remaining after the
improvement of the permitted subdivision roads will be hauled off site.
13) A confidential site agreement between BP Amoco and the landowner guarantees
full reclamation and reseeding of the disturbed area not covered by gas pad to be
constructed.
14) The property has received full approval from La Plata County for the Folk Horn
Subdivision. BP Amoco is in the process of receiving final approval from La Plata
County for the well excavation that will be conducted by BP Amoco, not the landowner.
15) No agencies are participating in the funding and La Plata County has participated
in the design and engineering review for the Folk Horn Subdivision.
16) The post mining uses will be a gas well pad.
17) The type and size of the equipment used for the extraction is unknown to the
landowner and is predicted to by typical excavation equipment used by BP Amoco.
Sincerely,
Naomi Riess E7 TA,)Y,-
