<br />An application to develop and operate a gravel
<br />pit has been submitted to the Dolores County
<br />Planning Commission by the Dolores County Road
<br />Department. The proposed location is at the
<br />eastern most intersection. of, county roads H and 10
<br />approximately. two miles north of Highway 491.
<br />Physical address is 08098 CR 10.
<br />' The Planning Commission will hold a Public
<br />Hearing on April 16, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the
<br />courtroom in Dove Creek.
<br />Verbal comments regarding this application
<br />will be taken at this time. Written comments may
<br />be sent to the Dolores County Planning
<br />Commission, PO box 608, Dove Creek, CO 81324.
<br />A copy of the application is available for public
<br />review in the County Commissioners office during

<br />Dolores County Road Department will be
<br />accepting Bids for Chip Seal.
<br />Bid is to furnish and apply Polymerized Oil
<br />(HFMS2P or equivalent) for Chip Seal on 7.5
<br />miles of Road 24 ft. wide; three lifts using 1/."
<br />i chips.
<br />Chip to be supplied and stockpiled by Dolores
<br />County.
<br />Contractor needs to include in Bid:
<br />Oil, Distributor Truck, Chipper, Power Broom,
<br />Pnuematic Roller and
<br />Three - Ten Wheel Dump Trucks to feed Chipper.
<br />Haul from stockpile to chipper will be a maximum
<br />s
<br />6 of four miles.
<br />Work to be completed by May 31, 2008.

<br />www.dolorescounty.org. As the
<br />Internet, and specific web sites
<br />become one of the principle forms
<br />of communication and commerce,
<br />it is important that local
<br />communities maintain web sites for
<br />the connection to the surrounding
<br />area, the country and the world.
<br />To this end, the Extension Office
<br />is again asking local businesses,
<br />groups. and organizations to submit
<br />their contact information to the
<br />Extension Office so it can be
<br />posted to the Dolores County web
<br />site in the appropriate section of the
<br />site. This information should be in
<br />the following forms: Business or
<br />organizational names, phone and
<br />fax numbers; email addresses;
<br />business pictures, area scenic
<br />pictures, web addresses and
<br />mailing addresses. Please do not
<br />send or ask us, to post specific
<br />advertising or product information.
