VEGETATION TEST PLOTS <br /> STIPULATION NO. 19B <br /> 1. SITES No. 1, No. 4 and No. 5 Mines (see maps) <br /> 2. SEED In environmental office. <br /> Divide seed into three buckets, one bucket per site. Each site is <br /> approximately 0.34 acre. Each site has three plots measuring <br /> 50, x 100' (0. 11 Ac.) . <br /> Soy �io, Soy <br /> NOTE: <br /> .�-- (No. 4 and No. 5) <br /> o (No. 1 has two plots <br /> 50, x 1501) <br /> Each bucket should be divided into three bags so that each plot <br /> receives the same amount of seed. <br /> 3. SITE PREPARATION <br /> Mark each plot with steel fence posts. Each site must have graded <br /> access for the dragline to operate as close as possible to the out- <br /> side edge so the operator can see to work. The dragline will then <br /> pull the bucket up and down the slope, scarifying the surface. <br /> Nos. 4 and 5 (No. 1 is not necessary) . <br /> 4. FERTILIZER <br /> Prior to seeding, the plots and buffer zone will be fertilized with <br /> phosphorus and nitrogen at the rate of 60 lbs. P2O5 per acre and 15 <br /> lbs. N per acre. <br />
