The geological information contained in the RM was reviewed by a staff
geologist and found to be sufficient for use by the geologists and mining
engineers. Appropriate o
te geological coaleserves containe
maps
rdonted thefor
leases in
determining the extent
questions.
The following coal
o quality ss to be contained
ai ned in the R2P2 package on a
seam by seam basis for lbseam
0 Moisture wt % .
0 Ash wt S
0 Sulfur wt S
0 Volatile Muter wt S
0 Fixed Carbon wt S
0 Heating Value Btu/lb
0 Summary of Mineral Analysis of Ash Data and Chlorine content
including, Si02, A1203, T102, Fe203, CaO, MgO, K20,
Na20, S03, P:205, SrO, BaO, Mn304, undetermined, and
chlorine.
This information is of sufficient quality to determine the quality of the
mineable reserve base.
The coal seams will be mined using Longwell and convention (Room with
Pillar) mining techniques with the standard equipment associated
these two mining practices. Mining sequence information is contained on
mine plan maps showing development on a year by year basis. The
production rate is contained in the text of the R2P2 on a year by year,
seam by seam basis. The estimated overall recovery factor
acttotafo thbeertwwo
seams to be mined (the B 8 D seams) is 42.6 percent.
The acres contained by the ' (5) leases (C-023 of 103, D-047201 , C-0126669,
C-8424, and C-8425) is 6441 .60.
The estimated reserve bases were submitted by the company including
in-place, mineable, and !'recoverable reserves. These figures were checked
for accuracy by- the staff of this offiCO for all seams. Further analysis
was performed for the two seams to be mined since mineable and recoverable
reserves are only present in the B and D seams. The results of this
analysis are as follows:
The total in-place reserves were calcualted by a staff geologist at this
office.
