Quality of Surface Water

mine. Concentrations of major and trace constituents vary geatly with the rates of flow, evaporation, and the location
of sampling. Parameters of concern in water quality studies include total dissolved solids (TDS), sodium, calcium,
bicarbonate, sulfate, iron and manganese.
