(Page 2) <br />MINE ID # OR PROSPECTING ID # M-1999-047 <br />INSPECTION DATE 05/27/08 INSPECTOR'S INITIALS PSH <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />The Adamson Bros. Pit was inspected in anticipation of the Sucession of operator process from <br />Yuma County to Adamson Brothers and Sons Feedlot, Inc. This inspection was conducted by Peter <br />Hays and Carl Mount with the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division). Mr. <br />Howard McGinnis with Yuma County Road and Bridge was present during the inspection. The pit <br />was last inspected on February 3, 2005. <br />The Adamson Brothers Pit is located 7 miles east and 2 miles north of Wray, CO. The Adamson <br />Pit is currently inactive due to the end of the contract between Adamson Bros. and Yuma <br />County. Mr. McGinnis stated mining activites by Yuma County ended 3-4 years ago. <br />The pit walls appeared to be partially reclaimed at slopes of 3:1 to 4:1. A large <br />stockpile of caliche was observed at the middle of the pit. Two large stockpiles of <br />topsoil and overburden were observed along the northern and southern boundries of the pit, <br />respectively. <br />The pit slopes appeared stable and no erosion was observed. <br />Signs and boundary markers were observed during the inspection. <br />No problems were observed during the inspection. <br />I & E Contact Address <br /> ?
