• Ponds 24 and 30 which failed to meet the Total Suspended Solids specified in
the current TNRCC discharge Permit No. 02653.
Action: The permittee shall immediately take action necessary to prevent the discharge
of waters with TSS Concentrations in excess of the discharge limits including but
not limited to treating the sediment ponds with chemical agents designed to
reduce suspended solids, vegetating or mulching watershed areas to reduce the
inflow of sediment and repairing inlet structures to reduce erosion of the pond
slopes.
Terminated: On January 23, 2002, RCT Modification extended the time for abatement for 30
days to February 19, 2002, the requested .additional time necessary for the
development and implementation of corrective actions and the approval of
submitted plans for cited areas.

mining area located outside of surface water control defined by sedimentation
ponds.
Action: The permittee shall immediately reclaim the portion of the access road that is not
within surface water control.

days to February 19, 2002, the requested additional time necessary for the
