Box 628 <br />Nucla, CO 81424 <br />Attention: Tom Fry <br />Subject: Laboratory Testing Services <br />Job No. 2,243 <br />Dear Mr. Fry, <br />RECEIVED MAR 2 Q 20D6 <br />A Geotechnical Engineering Group (GEG) representative performed laboratory <br />testing services on samples, sampled and provided by a Western Fuels representative. <br />The laboratory testing included Moisture Content- Dry Density relationship (Proctor) <br />tests, Sieve Analysis Tests, Atterberg Limits Tests, Natural Moisture Content Tests and <br />Remolded Direct Shear Strength Tests. The normal loads and test procedures for the <br />Direct Shear Strength Tests were received and approved by a Western Fuels <br />representative. Enclosed, please find test results for samples provided by Western <br />Fuels sampled on January 16, 2~Q6. Moisture Density Relationship (Proctor) results <br />are included on Figs. 1 and 2, Sieve Analysis, Natural moisture and Atterberg Limits are <br />included on Fig. 3 and remolded Direct Shears are included on Figs. 4 through 7. <br />We appreciate the opportunity to provide materials testing services.
