We have identified five areas of concern. <br />Point 1- Public view of gravel pit. <br />Response: The Moffat County Commissioners along with the Developer have agreed to <br />erect a 12' cedar fence to run from the west corner of the proposed pit, running east to <br />block the view from the neighbors on the north and to detract the view from highway <br />travelers. <br />Point 2 - Close proximity to the Moffat County Airport. <br />Response: The County Commissioners have been in contact with Blaine Tucker, the <br />Fixed Base Operator. The FBO said that he see's no problem with the gravel pit. The <br />commercial jet that landed at the airport was total pilot error. I do not believe that this <br />error has any bearing what so ever on the proposed gravel pit.
