§2.05 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR UNDERGROUND MINING ACTIVITIES - <br />MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR OPERATION AND RECLAMATION PLANS. <br />East Mine Reclamation (formerly OVM) <br />Structural Demolition <br />1. The Guard Shack has been removed. However, some concrete <br />foundations and gates remain in this area. <br />2. The derelict weather station and dust sampling station has been <br />removed. <br />3. The sewage treatment plant has been removed. Some foundations <br />and footers remain. <br />4. The crushing and screening plant, the truck loadout and conveyor <br />system on the crushing and screening bench have been removed. <br />5. The shop and warehouse building, bulk storage building and the tine <br />repair shop have been removed from the shop and warehouse <br />bench area. <br />6. The underground conveyor along with the access to the conveyor for <br />overflow material have been removed from the shop and warehouse <br />bench. <br />7. The 2,000 ton surge silo has been partially reclaimed. Currently, <br />some concrete must be mechanically separated from its <br />reinforcement for complete demolition and two vibratory feeders <br />must be removed from the remaining silo before backfilling. <br />8. The downhill conveyor and bents (both elevated and on grade) from <br />the Office Bench has been removed along with transfer tower #1. <br />9. The mine offices/bathhouse, fueling station, conveyor system and <br />bulk rockdust system have been removed from the Office and Portal <br />Bench. <br />10. The ventilation fan and all of its support facilities was removed as <br />the result of a mine fire in 1986. <br />11.
