I'have made the corrections to
the pages and maps as?you note and am supplying them for your
file. +i
i
1. Attached are the first 4 pages of the application form-to
replace those in the file Please note that these were
f"ill.ed in.using';,old technology, i.e. a blue pen & type-
writer. b
2. We would like to thank Mr. Si.dener.for his comments:," We
believe the US Forest Service addressed his concerns in
their 2007 Environmental Assessment' (EA) and felt this
minor disturbance would have little impact on wildlife in
the Routt National Forest. Grand County understands the
Division of Wildlifes"concerns regarding operation during
the 2 day period before hunting seasons. In the EA this
issue, was one of the Design Criteria used when they pre-
pared the EXCAVATION & DEVELOPMENT REQUIREMENTS that were part of
the CONTRACT FOR SALE between Grand County and the US
Forest Service.111. The Forest Service chose to leave this
out but the County verbally agreed to observe this limita-
tion when ever 'possible. This is a.land use issue and not
subject to the reclamation laws so we will not commit to
placing an operat"ions limitation in this reclamation plan.
3(a).. Paragraph 1 of !section 6".3.'3 has been corrected to match
the 2:1 sloping. plan.
' source: www.fs.fed.us/r2/mbr/projects/mineral/adobepdf/RED_DIRT_EA final.pdf
i
