Alluvium of East Muddy Creek
Tributaries of East Muddy Creek on the west Side of Hunts tar_
Ridge are generally intermittent on the lease tract . Slopes
are steep and the screams are more erosive than depositional
in character . No alluvial aquifer exists in the tributaries of
East Muddy Creek on the lease area. However, East Muddy Creep
itself, in the mines adjacent area does have an alluvial base .
This aquifer is recharged by East 'uddy Creek in its upper
reaches by tributary streams contributing sno,,m!elt and discharges
into the alluvium of the ;forth Fork. sirce the lease area
does not encroach upon the aquifer and no surface facilities
are to be located west of Hunts-man Ridge in this drainage,
mining should have little effect on the alluvial aquifer in
the East Muddy Creek drainage . .:ells being utilized in the
ine adjacent area west o= Huntsman Ridge are identif=ed
in Figure 783 . 15-5 .
Note : See next page (26 . 1) for additional information on
East Muddy Creek water usage .
1` 2
