Coal is mined from the B bed and the <br /> SSee Isopach maps at Exhibits III-D-1 and III-D-2 for <br /> :Middle beds . / In addition, fragments of the "Sunshine" seam, <br /> those two seams . <br /> which is mined some 10 miles to the north (by another <br /> operator) , have been detected-. The coal occurs above sand- <br /> stone units . The Rollins Sandstone is beneath the A and B <br /> beds ; the. Middle Sandstone is beneath the ?fiddle bed ; and <br /> the Upper Sandstone is beneath the. Placita bed . <br /> The �,iesaverde is customarily described in <br /> terms o.-L7 a lower formation, called the Ties , and an upper <br /> formation called the Williams fork.
