The water in the ditch travels approximately 7
miles, and crosses the land of many farmers. Some of the land owners are shareholders;
others are not. There is a concern about the chemicals used in asphalt processing possibly
entering our water supply and contaminating it. If there were spills and some chemicals
entered the intake channel, the ditch, or the deep ponds connected to the ground water
supply, there could be extreme pollution and damage.
A copy of this addition will be sent to Carl Mount. We appreciate your time.
Thank you,
.George Ence; President
970-629-5402
