Louis, MO 63101 has <br />permission for a term to expire December 31, 2008 to enter upon the following state-owned mineral lands: <br />SUBDIVISION SEC.TWP.RGE. COUNTY <br />Lots 3-4, S2NW, SW Sec. 3 TSN R87W Routt <br />ALL Sec. 10, 11 TSN R87W <br />ALL Sec. 14, 15 TSN R87W <br />NE, W2SW, NESE Sec. 16 TSN R87W <br />None <br />for the purpose of carrying on the following method of exploration to determine the mineral <br />possibilities on said lands: <br />Method :conventional small diameter core up to 6.25 inch hole <br />The permission herein granted is subject to the following conditions: <br />PATENTS <br /> <br />1. RESERVATION -The Board reserves the right to withdraw ariy or all lands from this permit <br />without prior notice at any time when or if the Board deems it to be in the best interests of the State <br />to do so. <br />2. NOTICES - Permittee shall notify the surface owner or lessee of his intention to enter upon the <br />lands under this permit and will, in every way, respect the rights of such occupants to the end that the <br />least inconvenience and damage may be cause~`lbem by the conduct of the exploration. Permittee <br />shall immediately notify the Board of any unusual damages or claims. ~~""""~" <br />3. CANCELLA~fION - In the event of the failure of Perrnittee to atyl~ by the terms and covenants of <br />this permit, the State Board of Land Commissioners shall have the right to cancel the privileges <br />herein. granted. This permit may be cancelled at any time without notice if the Board deems <br />cancellation to be in the best interest of the State. <br />r <br />4. BOND - An exploration bond or proof of a Mined Land Reclamation Division permit shall have <br />been filed with the Board before work is commenced on any state-owned land. The amount of the <br />bond, fixed by the board, varies in proportion to the type of land, the size of the area to be worked, <br />and type of exploration. A permanent statewide bond may be fled with this office, but a separate <br />permit shall be required for each exploration area. <br />5. BOND RELEASE -Before releasing permittee from bonded liability, the Board may require <br />permittee to show proof that his operations have been conducted satisfactorily and that damage <br />claims have been settled. Bond provided by Colorado Coal Resources, LLC on file with Colorado <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. <br />6. DAMAGES - Permittee shall be responsible for all-damages fo the lands and-personal and private <br />property. nchiding but not limited to livestock, crops, fences, gates, culverts, irrigation systems, <br />stock: watering facilities, roads, power lines, buried pipe lines, water lines, etc. Permittee shall settle <br />damage claims within sixty (60) days after completion of the borehole abandonment activities. <br />7. OPERATIONS -All work shall be done in a reasonable mariner with the least possible interference <br />with the surface owner's or surface lessee's operations, or with the operations of other minerals <br />iessees. No member of the crew will be permitted to carry firearms, nor will they be permitted to fish ` <br />
