V EXHIBIT "L" RECLAli~iATION COST: <br />A) "As stated earlier, in order for DRMS to calculate the required warranty, the requested <br />information has to be provided. Even though the applicant has provided a cost summary, under <br />the Exhibit, it is not based on actual design for the slurry wall and dams and cannot be accepted <br />as the TRUE cost needed to reclaim the site in the event DRMS has to contract it to another <br />company to complete the task." <br />Response: The cost of the slurry wall will be based upon the depth of the wall, which will <br />average about 33 feet and the width of 2.5 feet. The west reservoir slurry wall will be <br />.approximately 11,500 lineal feet at a cost of $ 4,OOIlf as you stated in you correspondence, <br />therefore the estimated cost is $ 46,000.00 and the east pit slurry wall is approximately 9,525 <br />lineal feet at $ 4.00/lf wcsuld equate to $ 38,200.00. The construction of the slurry wall is based <br />upon the. infarma~tian gained. by the. drill lags. of the site. and the. design engineer's. specif cations. <br />as stated in the reclamation portion of this letter. <br />VII EXHIBIT "S" PERMANENT MAN MADE STRUCTURES <br />A) "Has the operator identified all manmade structures within 200 feet of the permit area? <br />Please verify." <br />Response: All of the ntanntade structures have been identified within 200 feet. A letter of <br />agreement from the Excelsior Irrigation Company has been included in this letter that states that <br />the applicant can modify the ditch and relocate the ditch for this site.
