One copy of the document is not
bound so it can easily be electronically scanned. These documents include environmental
ground water monitoring data collected and compiled during our thirtieth quarter of
operations (March 2008). No solution mining activity occurred during the report period.
The ground water data summary report is spiral bound as anon-confidential document and
includes a comparison of the 30th operational quarter with baseline and operational
general statistics prior to the current reporting period. In addition, the tables provide
information for comparison of Ground Water Standards as provided in Regulation No. 41
and Numeric Protective Levels and Early Warning Indicators as amended in TR-4.
Comparison of the data values with the Early Warning Indicators (EWI) and the Numeric
Protective Levels (NPL) indicates two values above the calculated NPL limits during the
sample period. No values flagged above EWI during the period. The March 2008 value
for dissolved boron recorded from the sample collected at the Uinta well 21-3U is 3.7 mg/L.
The calculated NPL for this constituent at this point is 3.64 mg/L. The value for dissolved
boron at upper aquifer A-Groove well 21-3A was reported at 5.9 mg/L in March 2008. The
calculated NPL at this point is 5.68 mg/L. This information is discussed in more detail and
graphs representing the period of record for this constituent at each of these wells are
shown in the Executive Summary of the report on pages 2 and 3, respectively.
Should you have any questions or comments regarding this information, please contact me
at (970) 285-0428 or Celina Akin at (970) 285-0406.
Delivering a Crystal Clear Advantage
www.americansoda.com
