A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new .installation of the software. <br />Z. The C.i~ or DVD that you purchase mu be in the D•. drir~Q. A DVD drive will read a Ct7 or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain fries with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application far .tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi-page documents. f]n a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Wi.rrdows Picture <br />and Fax. Viewer" or "Paint" and they dq not.work with QuickView. The imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work- TaMG has determined that a program called "irfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.eom, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", i# .needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this <br />soiitwaro and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "imaging fnr Windows". <br />linstractiuns: <br />i . insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. You are rowdy to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been. copied to this CD. if the Autarun program <br />does NOT work, you wi11 need to manually install the QuickView program. <br />instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.minins.state_co.us. <br />The Permit Fik docoroent images can be viewed in the reception area of the DMG of'ftee or they car be pnrcha,4cd oa a CD or <br />DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making the CD.
