5) Please clarify the estimated timeline and proposed reclamation of Phase 2. <br />6) Per Rule 3.1.8, all aspects of the mining and reclamation plan shall take into account the safety and <br />protection of wildlife on the mine site. What procedures and/or agreements will be implemented by the <br />operator to address the Colorado Division of Wildlife's recommendation for a seasonal closure of the <br />mining operation between the dates of January 1 through March 31 ? <br />7) Per Rule 6.4.5 (2)(f)(iv), indicate the quantity and size of the cottonwoods and willows to be planted along <br />the edge of the reclaimed pond. <br />8) Per Rule 6.2.1, all maps must be prepared and signed by a registered land surveyor, professional engineer, <br />or other qualified person; date prepared must be shown. Please submit a Mine Plan map and Reclamation <br />Plan map that are signed and dated by the map maker. <br />9) Please supply the Division a copy of the well permit or well permit number of the well permit obtained for <br />the mining operation. <br />10) Will affected land of the proposed mining operation be within two hundred feet of State Highway 394? If <br />so please provide a signed damage agreement or an appropriate engineering evaluation that demonstrates <br />that the highway shall not be damaged by activities occurring at the mining operation. <br />11) Will affected land of the proposed mining operation be within two hundred feet of Deep Cut Ditch? If so <br />please provide a signed damage agreement with the owner of the Deep Cut Ditch or an appropriate <br />engineering evaluation that demonstrates that Deep Cut Ditch shall not be damaged by activities occurring <br />at the mining operation. <br />This is a preliminary review. Other issues may arise from other agency comments, and as more information is <br />supplied.
