March 25, 2008
Mr. Scott Cowman
c/o Colorado Coal Resources, LLC
29515 Routt County Road 27
Oak Creek, CO 80467
This letter suggests a seed mixture that Colorado Coal Resources, LLC (CCR) should use to
revegetate coal exploration surface disturbance associated with the Cow Camp 2008 Exploration
Program. CCR and 20 Mile Sheep, LLC (20 Mile Sheep) entered into an Exploration and Prospect
Drilling Agreement, dated , 2008, which granted CCR the right to enter onto Earle
controlled Property to prospect for, drill and otherwise evaluate coal underlying the surface of the
Property.
The description of the. exploration drill hole locations are:
• NW/4 NE/4 Section 5, Township S North, Range 87 West
• NW/4 NW/4 Section 5, Township 5 North, Range 87 West
• NE/4 SE/4 Section 31, Township 6 North, Range 87 West, of the 6"' P.M., all in Routt
County, Colorado
The approximate locations of the drillholes are shown on the drawing entitled "Cow Camp 2008
Exploration Surface Owner Map" and are referenced as drillhole numbers CCU012, CCU019, and
CCU030.
It is our understanding that the land disturbed by the 2008 exploration drilling is upland
range/pastureland used for livestock grazing and wildlife habitat. CCR used this mixture to reseed
drill pad locations on upland range/pastureland disturbed during previous exploration activities. The
recommended seed mixture (with recommended variety, if available) and seeding rates is as follows:
Species PLS lbs/acre
Thickspike wheatgrass (Critana) 1.0
Mountain brome (Bromar) 2.0
Western wheatgrass (Arriba) 2.0
Slender wheatgrass (San Luis) 2.0
Bluebunch wheatgrass (Secar) 1.0
Basin wildrye (Trailhead) 2.0
Orchardgrass (Paiute) 0.25
Green needlegrass (Lodorm) 2.0
Canada bluegrass (Ruebens) 0.10
Sheep fescue (Covar) 0.25
Big bluegrass (Sherman) 0.25
~'t~
Rocky Mtn. penstemon (Bandera)
0.25
Palmer penstemon (Ceder) 0.10
Blue flax (Appar) 0.50
Arrowleaf balsaroot (Native) 0.50
Tailcup lupine (Native) 1.0
Yarrow (Native) 0.10
Pacific aster (Native) 0.10
Chokecherry (Native) 1.0
Serviceberry (Native) 0.50
