~ b.
sites will not start until BLM issues a coal exploration license, and in the case of
sites CCU025, CCU027, CCU030, CCU031 and CCU033, cultural resource
inventories are completed and approved by CDRMS and the State Office of
Archaeology and Historic Preservation.
Utilizing a "phased," or conditional, approval process will result in a single submittal to CDRMS,
simplify agency review, and hopefully reduce review time and effort. This approach will also
allow CCR to start the exploration activities at the beginning of the field season and promote an
orderly drilling sequence.
We hope to initiate the proposed exploration activities as soon as possible, following receipt of all
required approvals; therefore, we would appreciate your consideration and cooperation in
facilitating timely review and approval of this submittal. Once you have had opportunity to
review this submittal package, please feel free to contact either Mr. John Weinman, with Hydro-
Environmental Solutions, Inc., at 970-871-6125, or the undersigned at 970-870-2712 with any
questions or comments.
Best regards,
(for Colorado sources, LLC)
Jerry .
