PERMANENT MAN-MADE STRUCTURES
EXHIBIT L
There is 1 man-made structures within 200 feet of the
Permit/Affected lands line. It is the County Road 19 (FSR 100)
along the northern section of the permit/affected lands line.
The road lies below the lowest mine floor elevation so it will
not be impacted by mining. The USFS allows us to use this road
as access to the site with the understanding that the County will.
maintain it during the life of the mine.
IMPACT ANALYSIS
Since the plan is to mine into the hillside and the floor oi=
the mine will be above the road so no mining will take place
below the base of the road. Mining this area will not create an
instability that could cause damage to the road. A mining setback:
of 20 feet will be maintained around the site. Along the road
where we have located the permit/affected lands line it is no
closer than 100 feet from the base of the mine slope. A near
vertical mining face will be used as mining progresses. As the
face worked to the mine perimeter away from the road the slopes
will be excavated at their final rate of 2:1. Mining will be
well within the permit boundary so there will be no chance for
offsite disturbance due to slope failures. The bottom of the
mine will be above the road level.
Listed below are the man-made structures within 200 feet of
the affected lands.
USFS - 1 Road (FSR 100)
28 (revised 4/10/08)
