We appreciate the perspectives you were able to offer us with respect to the operations of <br />Western Fuels -Colorado (WFC) at the New Horizon Mine. <br />Enclosed with this letter are three copies of a memo that Dan and I compiled, reflecting the topics v~~e <br />discussed. I hope that we have accurately portrayed the sentiments you expressed; if there are any items <br />that appear to be incorrectly represented, please do not hesitate to contact me at (970) 247-1184. <br />'You will also be interested to know that WFC has submitted an application to the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety for a Technical Revision (TR-57) to the New Horizon Mine permit. <br />TR-57 attempts to address the issues of Soil Resource and Topsoil Redistribution. The Division <br />anticipates that it will give WFC the go-ahead later this week to place public notice of this application in <br />the newspaper. <br />During our meeting in Nucla, you requested that an additional copy of the TR be provided for Mr. Frank. <br />Morgan's use, due to inadequate viewing conditions at the Court House.
