Wildlife Resources Assessment <br />Cemex "C" Pit and CKD Disposal Site <br />Page 16 <br />' Other recent wildlife impact assessments include: <br />• management assessment for the Bald Eagle, Piping Plover and Least Tern at John Martin <br />' Reservoir State Park <br />• Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station in El Paso County <br />• 12,000 acre wind energy site in Prowers County <br />• 200 acre concert facility in Larimer County located on a 1,450 acre ranch <br />• mine projects in Jefferson, Boulder and Larimer Counties <br />• 1,800 acre mixed use annexation to City of Brighton <br />Conservation Easement Baseline Inventories and Reports <br />Reports completed on more than one hundred forty properties in nineteen Colorado counties, <br />totaling over 100,000 acres. Baseline reports establish specific resources to be protected by <br />' conservation easements, and the public interest served by these easements. Mike has conducted <br />workshops on baseline report methodology for the Colorado Coalition of Land Trusts and other <br />land conservation organizations in Colorado. These projects are real estate transactions that <br />require analysis of risk management, personal and corporate liability, and real estate due <br />diligence and disclosure as applied to natural resource management and land trust industry <br />standards and practices. <br />From 2000 to the present Mike has been a consultant to Adams County Parks Department on the <br />South Platte River Great Outdoors Colorado Legacy Grant including the McIntosh Dairy Farm, <br />Bald Eagle Conservation Easement, and Bromley open space acquisition. Projects include <br />conservation easements, fee simple acquisitions, floodplain issues, agricultural preservation, <br />wildlife management and trail development. The legacy grant covers 12 miles of the South Platte <br />River from Commerce City to Brighton. <br />' RELEVANT PUBLIC SERVICE <br />• City of Boulder Open Space Board of Trustees 1986-1990 (Chair 1990).
