The diversion ditch for Iowa Gulch Creek was badly eroded, so
we proceeded to fill and pack in around the ditch. See photo 9.
Next spring and summer will prove whether our work was
successful .
Our goals for next year will be to monitor the success of the
seedlings and also to see if any grasses from the seed mix show
any promise. If so, then more seeding can take place along our
ditches and berms to help stabilize the soil from erosion.
Erosion will also be monitored and further steps toward
stabilizing will be taken if necessary.
