Hydrologic Monitoring Plan <br />Northfield Mine <br />completed in the described areas and six (6) consecutive <br />water level measurements show no substantial declines or <br />changes in water level, at which time quarterly frequency <br />will resume. <br />3. Semi-annual water quality sampling will continue at all <br />SBWMW wells during the monthly water level <br />measurement duration. <br />III. Sedimentation Pond Discharge Samglina <br />A. Monitoring Locations (Refer to Figure 1, Hydrology Monitoring <br />Locations) <br />1. Pond 1, NPDES Outfall ID number pending approval of <br />NPDES permit. Outfall from pond into Chandler Creek. <br />B. Sampling Frequency and Procedure <br />1. Selected water quality parameters and flow will be <br />measured as specified in the approved NPDES discharge <br />permit. <br />2. Total quantity discharged on a monthly basis will be <br />documented and kept on file at the mine office. <br />C. Sam__pling Procedure <br />1. The following information will be provided on each sample <br />bottle label: <br />- Name/ Location designation <br />- Date and Time <br />- Company Name <br />Sample preservative information <br />2. Sampling and measuring devices will be cleaned prior to <br />and after use, and samples will be placed in clean sample <br />containers which will be sealed at the sampling site. <br />3. Filled sample bottles will be chilled as soon as possible <br />after filling, then kept cold until packed with ice for <br />shipment to the laboratory. <br />4. Water quality samples will be analyzed for the specific <br />parameters listed in the approved NPDES discharge <br />permit. <br />D. Data Processing and Reporting <br />1.
