No.: Pond #10A-Loadout <br />Inspection Period: Fourth Quarter 2007 <br />Inspection Date: 12/3/07 <br />General Description or Reference to Site Plan: <br />This pond is located east of the coal loadout facility and south of the railroad tracks <br />The pond is partially incised into alluvium and the embankment keyed into the <br />subsurtace strata. Side sopes are less than 2H:1 V. The pond discharges into Lorencito <br />Canyon Creek. <br />EMBANKMENT <br />1). Adequacy of the vegetative cover. Excellent odes Few Poor <br />2). Erosion forming Gullies: Extensive Some ew None <br />3). Is wave action causing erosion: <br />On the Upstream embankment? <br />At the principal spillway inlet? <br />4).
