The attractiveness of a gravity <br />outlet is based upon the idea that it is less complex than a pump station and probably, in the long <br />term, more reliable. We have proposed an alignment and elevation data for this pipeline in <br />Figure 4.1. Initially, the concept of a gravity outlet would seem ideal for the operation of the <br />proposed ponds; however, the proximity of the property to the river will only allow for the <br />gravity drainage of Ponds 2 and 3.
