Option 1: was to
dig up the trees with a backhoe, rootball included, stack it, burn it. He usually doesn't
recommend this technique but the whole area has already been excavated so visual
scarring it not an issue. If there is re-growth by August, this will have to be sprayed..
Option 2: was to chainsaw it down and spray the stumps within 10 minutes with Garlon.
The scrubbiness of the trees makes this slow and aggravating.
We chose Option 2 by our weed coordinator's recommendation. He is the one
that oversaw the job and sprayed it himself.
Enclosed, please find photos.
Sincerely ~~~~'~
r~AR 2 ~ zoos
arty Re ord DivM n ngfand Safety n
Administrator of Road & Bridge District #4
,~~~o~
DELTA COUNTY, COLORADO
ROAD & BRIDGE DISTRICT N0.4
CRUSHER & HOT PLANT
COUNTY COURTHOUSE 501 PALMER ST, DELTA, COLORADO 81416
PHONE :CELL (970) 234-1478 CONTROL HSE FAX: (970) 835-8180
WEB: www.lrecord(a~deltacountv.com
FOREMAN: RICHARD MEWHINNEY CELL (970) 234-1477
ADMINISTRATOR: LARRY RECORD (970) 874-2133
