Date: 10-Jan-06 <br />Client Project ID: Lupton Lakes <br />Lab Order: OS-9449 <br />CASE NARRATIVE <br />SAMPLE RECEIVING <br />Samples were hand delivered via Executive Courier. <br />Custody seals were present and intact. <br />The temperature of the sample(s) upon arrival was 2 °C. <br />Sample(s) were received in good condition; in the proper container, and within holding times. <br />Sample(s) were preserved properly ; VOC sample(s) were marked as preserved on the bottle labels. <br />VOC sample(s) were received with no headspace present. <br />The first two Nitrate samples of this project were received within 15 minutes of holding time expiration <br />and could not be run within holding time. JD <br />QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />Analyses performed on samples in this work order meet the requirements of the EAL Quality <br />Assurance Program unless otherwise explained. Analyses of RCRA samples meet the requirements of <br />NELAC and Utah Rule R444-14 unless otherwise explained. CMS <br />CLIENT SERVICES <br />There are no anomalies to re ort. SG <br />p <br />GENERAL CHEMISTRY <br />Anion samples were received too late for samples OS-9449-01 & 02 to meet the Nitrate holding times. <br />There were no other anomalies to report..MM/CMS <br />METALS ANALYSIS <br />The post digest spike recovery for calcium is outside the QC limits due to the high concentration of <br />calcium in the sample versus the low concentration of the spike. All LCS recoveries were within QC <br />limits, proving the analysis was in control. There are no other anomalies to report. MB/CMS <br />GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY <br />Method TEH_W: There are no anomalies to report. JM <br />Method 8021_W: The Benzene recovery on the matrix spike (MS) is 0.7% below the QC limit. The <br />LCS, LCSD, and MSD recoveries are within the QC limits. There are no other anomalies to report. JM <br />Method 8081 W: There are no anomalies to report.
