The average site-wide result for calcium is 112.6 mg/L with a standard deviation of 26.0. Based on the groundwater
• sampling plan approved by the DMG, a site wide average may be used plus one standard deviation to establish
background levels. This will establish a site wide baseline calcium concentration of 139 mg/L.
3.3.3 Carbonate
Carbonate was not detected in any of the samples during this sampling period. There is no background carbonate
concentration observed in the samples collected at this time.
3.3.4 Magnesium
Magnesium concentrations have not shown an identifiable trend in concentrations over the sampling period.
