The average result for total dissolved solids is 895.5 mg/L with a standard deviation of 179.8. Based on the groundwater
sampling plan approved by the DMG, a site wide average maybe used plus 1 standard deviation to establish
background levels. This will establish a site wide baseline total dissolved solid concentration of 1,075 mg/L.
3.2.4 pH
PH levels ranged from 6.83 up to 7.54. This range is considered normal for groundwater. It is recommended that the
CDPHE limits of 6.5 to 8.5 be used to evaluate pH conditions at the site.
3.2.5 Chloride
Chloride concentrations have not been higher than the SDWS nor have they shown an identifiable increase or decrease
in concentrations over the sampling period.
