Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division received Twentymile Coal Company's (TCC) Fourth Quarter 2007 Coal Waste Pile <br />Inspection Report on January 10, 2008. According to the report, prepared by North West Colorado <br />Consultants for Twentyrnile Coal Company, compaction tests were conducted on October 25, 2007 at <br />locations 363 and 364 in Area 3. The fourth quarter 2007 engineer's inspection was conducted on <br />December 31, 2007. According to the report, Area 1 and Area 2 were snow covered. Area 3 was <br />receiving recent coal waste material.. No problems were noted in the engineer's report with regard to <br />the construction, grading, drainage, or operation of the pile. <br />North West Colorado Consultants, Inc. conducted the inspection and provided their results to TCC. <br />Results of monitoring of 5 piezometers was included in the report.
