Cattany <br /> <br />Oak Creek, CO 80467 Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Foidel Creek Mine, C-82-056, Third Quarter 2007 Coal Waste Pile Inspection Report <br />Dear Mr. Nettleton: <br />The Division received Twentymile Coal Company's (TCC) Third Quarter 2007 Coal Waste Pile <br />Inspection Report on October 9, 2007. According to the report, prepared by North West Colorado <br />Consultants for Twentymile Coal Company, compaction tests were conducted on August 14, August <br />14, and September 24, '2007 at locations 354 through 361. The third quarter 2007 engineer's <br />inspection was conducted on September 26, 2007. No problems were noted in the engineer's report <br />with regard to the construction, grading, drainage, or operation of the pile. <br />North West Colorado Consultants, Inc. conducted the inspection and provided their results to TCC. <br />Monitoring results from 5 piezometers was included in the report.
