Halde Sand & Gravel, Inc. <br />Regular 112 Permit Application <br />Halde Pit <br />EXHIBIT G -WATER INFORMATION <br />(1) Will the Operation Directly Affect Surface or Groundwater Systems <br />This operation will not directly affect the surface or groundwater <br />systems. No water will be exposed during the course of mining. The <br />depth of the groundwater is approximately 60'. <br />(Z) If the Operation is to Directly Affect Surface or Groundwater Systems the <br />Applicant/Operatorshalls <br />(a) Locate on the Map (Exhibit C) any tributary, wells, springs, stockwater ponds, <br />reservoirs, and ditches on the affected land <br />All tributary, wells, springs, stockwater ponds, reservoirs, and ditches <br />have been identified on Exhibit C. No water will be impeded from <br />entering the proposed site. All stormwater will be retained. <br />(b) Identify all known aquifers <br />None known <br />(c) Statement showing how water from de-watering or runoff will be managed. <br />There will be no de-watering and any runoff returned to the pit from <br />either rain or from stockpiled material will not create a pollution <br />problem. There will be no discharge from the operation and only <br />material removed from the pit will be put back in the pit. Any snow <br />or rain will percolate into the system. This will be a self contained pit <br />with no runoff. <br />(3) Estimate of the Project Water Requirements <br />The only water that will be used is approximately 100,000 gallons per <br />year that will be provided by the owner for dust control. <br />
