The project will <br /> proceed by first placing waste material against the toe of the cuts. This will involve sorting riprap <br /> material. Following the removal and placement of the waste material against the cuts, designated <br /> on-site topsoil stockpiles will be distributed over the waste materials. Final grades will be <br /> directed at achieving proper drainage and controlling erosion including channel and furrow <br /> construction. An existing wetland area used for acid mine drainage treatment will be <br /> reconstructed including vegetation transplanting. All disturbed areas will be revegetated. <br /> Interested Contractors should promptly return the bottom half of this memo to the Colorado <br /> Division of Purchasing, 225 East Sixteenth Avenue, Suite 900, Denver, Colorado 80203, for a set <br /> of Bid Number RN-MINES-320 (COAL GULCH BOND FORFEITURE PROJECT) bidding <br /> documents. There is no charge for bid documents. <br /> An on-site pre-bid meeting will be held on September 28, 1993. All interested bidders must <br /> attend.
