Road watering and/or treatment with dust suppressant on BMP <br /> the access road during the short-term construction and <br /> development activities will minimize vehicle-related <br /> fugitive dust emissions. <br /> 119. To the extent feasible, project workers would car pool to BMP <br /> and from the project area to minimize vehicle-related <br /> emissions and fugitive dust emissions. <br />RECREATION <br />Recreation '120. To avoid near-miss accidents between hunters and CDOW <br /> drillers, MCC will be encouraged to avoid operations on suggestion <br /> Minnesota Creek Road from the Thursday before the <br /> second hunting season opener (mid-October) to the <br /> Wednesday after the second hunting season opener. If use <br /> is required for operations using over-sized vehicles during <br /> any period of public use, then MCC will use appropriate <br /> active traffic control measures. <br />CULTURAL RESOURCES <br />Cultural Surveys/ 121. Prior to the construction process, an intensive cultural 43 CFR 7 <br />Paleontological resources survey would be completed by the Proponent, Subtitle A <br />Resources at their expense, on all areas proposed for surface and 36 CFR <br /> disturbance if it has not already been inventoried per part 296 <br /> requirements of the Standard Notice for Lands Under <br /> Jurisdiction of the USDA attached to the leases. <br /> 122. During project implementation, in the event of an 43 CFR 7 <br /> inadvertent discovery of any other cultural resources not and 36 CFR <br /> covered under NAGPRA (above), work should cease and part 296 <br /> an archaeologist should be notified to investigate the <br /> resource. Any cultural resources located will be brought <br /> to the immediate attention of the J~orest Service and will <br /> be left intact until directed to proceed. All data and <br /> materials recovered will remain under the jurisdiction of <br /> the U.S. Government <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES <br />Interim reclamation 123. Interim reclamation will be done through seeding of BMP, State <br /> ungraveled areas. <br /> 124. Stabilization of steep cut slopes that will remain BMP <br /> unreclaimed over a winter or longer will be stabilized <br /> through placement of native boulders or other <br /> reclamation. <br />39 <br />
