The project comprises a coal mine operation north <br />ofMaek, Colorado, and an associated rail spur. The Fish and Wildlife Sel-~~ice (Service) <br />provides these conmients under the authority of, and in accordance with; the provisions <br />of section 7 of the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (16 U.S.C. } 531 ct seq.), <br />and the Interagency Cooperation Regulations (50 CFI2 402). <br />The Service provides the following list of federally listed, threatened and endangered <br />species, and candidates for potential future listing, that could be affected by tl~te proposed <br />project. <br />Bald eagle ~~ ~3'aliaeetus Zeucaceplialus ~(T-~ <br />'~2nn~rtai~'t i (rrln O~voiYN~ I L <br /> <br />P.002/003 F-T54 <br />i <br />'r!
