currently be forwarded to the BLM on a regular basis and will continue to be throughout
the operation of the water treatment plant.
The laboratory data provided by Energy Labs and Grand Junction Labs (third parry
laboratory) indicate a good degree of correlation between the samples collected to date,
especially considering that many of the measurements are in parts per billion. At this
time, this data includes a monthly sample collected in December 2007 and a weekly
sample collected in January 2008. A monthly third-party sample was also collected in
February during the three-day batch treatment and discharge event; however, the
laboratory analyses will not be available for three to four weeks due to the long turn-
around time for radionuclides. The February analyses will be provided to BLM when it is
reported to Energy Fuels. Refer to the attached table for the data that has been received
from both Energy Labs and Grand Junction Labs to date.
Third Party Lab Data Comparison
12/19/07 Sam le 1/18/08 Sam le'
Parameter Units EL GJL EL GJL
C amide m /L <0.005 <0.002 NA NA
COD m /L 6 <5 9 <5
g s.u. 7.97 7.1 7.03 6.8
TDS m 2 341 398 NA NA
TSS m /L 14 20 20 37
Arsenic Total /L 12 3 5 2
Boron m 2 <0.1 0.05 NA NA
Uranium Total /L 160 140 117 100
Be llium Total <1 <1 NA NA
Cadmium Total g/L <1 <0.2 <1 <0.2
Trivalent Chromium Total /L <10 <2 NA NA
Lead Total /L <10 1 NA NA
Man anese Total /L <10 5 32 38
Nickel Total <10 2 NA NA
Selenium Total /L 25 26 23 22
Vanadium Total 17 32 NA NA
Zinc Total /L <10 10 13 8
Ra-226 Dissolved Ci/L <1 0.2 <1 0.3
Ra-226 Total Ci/L <1 4.7 <1 1.8
Ra-228 Total Ci/L <1 NA 1.7 1.1
EL Energy Labs
GJL Grand Junction Labs
NA Not Analyzed
Notes:
1 The 1/18/08 sample was collected during a weekly sampling event and did not require analysis for
as many parameters as the 12/19/07 sample, collected during a monthly sampling event.
t~,nert.;y l~'t.kcas, incr. ~4 ~Jniccn 131vci., ~iui!t: 6;a~
caao~4.~rs~;r~,g~ii.GCls.cc»ta l,~.l:ew~sacj, C'S~l~3ratiu Sl~22~
