Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to Approve with conditions an <br />application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by Northfield <br />Partners, LLC on June 1, 2006, for the Northfield Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.07.4(2)(c) of the <br />Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, we are <br />providing notice of this proposed decision. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a <br />formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty (30) days of the first publication <br />of this notice in the Canon Ciry Daily Record. <br />The underground mine is located approximately 3 miles south of Canon City, and is further described as <br />follows: <br />Portions of Sections 11, 12, 13, 14, 22, 23, 24, Township 19 South, Range 70 West, 6th P.M. <br />Copies of the permit application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above <br />address and at the Fremont County Clerk and Recorder's Office.
