02/13!08
ANNUAL REPORT
EVERHART PIT
Permit No. M-1997-081
Thirty~five thousand tons of gravel were crushed in the Everhart Pit in 2007 and most of
that material still remains. The material is used on an as-needed basis. The actual
crushing was done under contract and lasted only 2 weeks. The contractor was tasked
with maintenance of the pit during the crushing -including adherence with our
stormwater plan requirements plus requirements placed upon their equipment and
operation. A project manager for our department was on site periodically for quality
control. The map submitted wi#h our 2006 report is still accurate as the stockpiled areas
previously shown were just added to with the new crushing.
Please note that this permit is held by Pueblo County therefore no financial warranty
has been required.
