• 4.15 REVEGATION
4.15.1 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
4.15.1(5) Each operator shall submit a weed management plan that will
become part of the permit requirements. Species to be considered shall be
noxious weeds as set forth in the permit. The plan shall also address
invasion of other weed species that seriously threaten the continued
development of desired vegetation. Weed management methods shall also
be used whenever the invasion of the disturbed area by weeds threatens
further spread of weeds to neazby areas.
The Noxious Weed Management Plan which is located in Appendix P is in
accordance with the above stated regulation and the Division's
"Guidelines for the Management of Noxious Weeds on Coal Mine Permit
Areas".
The Weed Management Plan will be accomplished in accordance with the
Colorado Weed Management Act [CRS35-5.5-115] and the Garfield
County Vegetation Management Department directives.
