D
Blue Mountain Energy, Inc.
2007 Stormwater Annual Report
Permit Certification No. COR-040172
ATTACHMENTS
A. Inspections were made and maintenance actions taken to ensure compliance with the
permit. No violations of the Stormwater Permit were noted. Current BMPs are
working properly. Routine maintenance performed including ditch cleaning and
sediment removal when and where warranted. 2007 can be characterized as being
near normal precipitation through mid summer with exceptionally high precipitation
totals in September and December. Rainfall intensity was relatively low resulting in
little Stormwater runoff. The majority of December precipitation came in the form of
early heavy wet snows. This precipitation remains in snow pack with anticipated
runoff in the late winter to early spring of 2008.
The SWMP was last updated as part of the 2001 Stormwater Annual Report. This
document has been reviewed and no changes are warranted. Since the SWMP
incorporates BME's Mining Permit by reference most changes are reviewed and
addressed within the context of the mining permit administered by the Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety.
B.
